Some would say folks who’ve worked the three towers of Development, Operations and Security are the “purple unicorn”, but some of us exist. This talk is to cover the perspectives of skills, egos, strategies and mitigations each silo should be considering when moving from their respective focus areas into a (hopefully) harmonious DevSecOps practice. We will cover metrics and measures, how to share tools and practices, but also how to effectively cross-train and skill up, as well as established a shared responsibility that will be more like a friendly campfire than a raucous family holiday dinner.
