so, s you hear, I’m trying to sell the car (I did a big first two week push, and everything has puttered out). I think it’s unfortunately off to CarMax as the miles of the car far outstrip the actual appeal of the car. I may shoot for one or two more weeks on Craigslist as it’s produced the most hits.

Anyhow, to sell a car, you need a title, and I’ve been on the hunt for it at home. On the aside, I needed to clean and organize my office. So, I haven’t found the car title yet, but damned if my filing isn’t close to 100% done. I have a few small stragglers of papers to file, but overall, it’s in a LOT better shape than it was on Saturday. It sucks to be the paperwork person in the family especially when I have a ton of other things to do. Oh well.

It kind of inspired me to trudge through the rest of the papers and boxes, as I’d promised earlier this summer, and scan the papers I need and toss a lot of useless stuff. I already did the wardrobe a few weeks ago, and some place is getting a whopping donation. Benefit for us, a small tax write off, but what a load of useless clothes for me. I mean, yeah, at one time, I would have worn them, but they are either out of fashion, not the right size, or, well, I guess just a bad choice for me. Basically, I think I’m in what psychologist refer to as the “purge” stage. Granted, I’ve been at the house 5 years now, it’s been one of the longest residences I’ve been at, and well, it’s just that time.

Maybe when all is said and done, I’ll have a celebratory beer party over here… time to break into the stash!

Cheers.
