wellp, I got back on the bike again today. The knee still was hurting, it was anticipating me going out this afternoon. I needed to prove to myself that I wasn’t scared… which I was.
I got scared going around the cul-du-sac at the end of our street, so I turned the bike around and headed for the main street. I went down, turned right, drove by a coupla guys playing with their dog. down to the end of the street. Turned around in a circle and headed home. I tried a few shifts and braking tests. The bike sounds cold and a little noisy. I need to get some gas in it and put some fuel stabilizer on it for the next two or three months.
but, yes, the knee is sore, but I did it. Still, gonna need a LOT of practice.
